What is a drug addiction?

Addiction is a social disorder which leads to mental and physical malfunctions.

Any treatment would be temporarily unless the original causes are discovered.

Nowadays addiction is one the biggest challenges which human has faced.

Addiction also causes cultural and moral troubles which endangers society's health.

Terminal of drugs is not only supported by making a lot of money,

but also is a very effective way to keep undeveloped countries under control.

Addiction is not limited to the people with low life quality,

Unfortunately it's growing up among intellectual and well educated people.

Trying to reduce addiction is more of an attempt against predominant influence

Over undeveloped countries rather than a military job.

Addiction as a social disorder will never be vanished for sure but

With trying in the right direction at least it would be under control.

So we our primary goal is to increase social knowledge

So we can reduce this phenomenon.

We’re looking for a day that even if an addicted exist in our social,

He seeks for help to change his life.

Drugs variation:

Any variation of  unripe poppy, hemp, coca and similar syntactical drugs which

may lead to addiction.

Variation of addictive drugs:

Sedatives and stimulators.

SEDATIVES:

Using these drugs affects central nerve system and reduces mental and

physical reflexes.

 There are two major kinds of these drugs :

Natural : Any extraction of unripe poppy, opium, purified opium and morphine.

Synthetics: Heroin, methadone, papverine, petedine and many painkillers and sedatives.

Hallucinative drugs:

Using these drugs causes hallucination. Some of these drugs are:

Natural: Canabis extracts, hash, bang, marijuana, grass, and mushroom.

Synthetic: LSD,DMT ,DET.

Energizer agents.

Using these drugs stimulate and increases body and mind activity. Examples:

Natural: coca leafs, Cocaine, Crack, and leafs of some other trees like Khat, Cratem and Nass.

Synthetic: Amphetamine, Methyl Amphetamine and related drugs.

Narcotics:

Unripe poppy:

This plant may grow 70-110 cm each year.

In the midst of spring after it’s flowers fall down, a capsule shows up.

At the end of spring the green color of this capsule turns to yellow.

Before this capsule turns to yellow professionals has the duty of

Extracting the milk in late afternoons.

The morning after this milk turns to brown and is ready to be used to make opium.

Opium:

The oldest and most renown drug made from poppy.

The plant has been agricultured 2500 years ago in Mediterranean.

However there are evidences that using opium was conventional among Sumerians

5000 years ago.

Appearance:

Opium is the solid form of poopy’s milk which is call popover .

Opium is used in a more creamy brown form which it’s color depends on where it has been

raised.

In the region it’s also called AFION and TARYAQ.

Alkaloids:

Opium is consist of many ingredients. Some of them are Morphine,

Narcotin, popoverine, Tebaine, Codeine and narsenine.

Usage :

Smoking with appropriate devices.

Using as a pill.

Drinking it solved in tea or water.

Effects :

Brain : Dependency ( addiction),insomnia during night,being sleeping during the day.

Personality changes :

1_Lack of motivations

2_Not accepting responsibility.

3_Not caring about education , career and family.

4_Depression and anxiety being unconscious when overdosed.

Digesting problems:

Nausea , vomiting ,having problems digesting ,anorexia ,liver disorder

Skin: itching, turning skin’s color darker, obvious darkness in lips.

Testicles : decreased libido in men. Sporadic menstruations in women.

Other effects: Being numb, lung infections breathing depression, dilated pupil.

Purified opium:

It’s the milky extraction coming out of poppy directly. It gets brown after being

Exposed to the air.

Morphine :

The origin of the word comes from “Morphenus” which in mythology is one of gods.

Approximately 10kg of opium is need to obtain 1 kg of Morphine.

It has a creamy and mild brown color and tastes bitter.

It’s still used in hospital as a powerful painkiller.

Heroin :

As it’s name shows, it means a hero man. It also means a very powerful   women who has done big favors to society  !

Heroine is made by stillation of Morphine. It’s white, with no smelling and tastes bitter.

After a long time of storage it tastes like vinegar.

History Of Heroin :

It’s the more powerful and hence more destructive narcotic known up to now.

It was first made by English and German scientist as  a medicine.

Heroin was made for the first time in Iran by Dr Mostafavi in 1334.

He taught the method of madding Heroin to some other people

And expanded the making it all over Iran.

Usage :

Heroin can be smoked or injected.

People who smoke Heroin make a pipe of foil ,put an amount of Heroin(usually 5gr)

On other foil. Put the Heroin on foil on fire and sniff the smoke with the foil pipe.

But those who inject Heroine start with the most available veins on hand ,after that

Veins on back of hand ,neck and in the last stages they inject Heroine in their testicles.

Effects:

Brain : Huge dependency, depression.

_Skin: Itching ,darkened skin ,darkened lips ,skin infection.

_Lung: Lack of blood in lungs ,lung infection ,depression in breathing.

_ovary and testicles: Reduced libido ,sexual impotency.

Methadone :

It’s a synthetic narcotic ,made during the WWII to help injured soldiers.

Infact methadone is a painkiller which can be used to stop coughing.

While methadone is highly addictive, it’s been used for treating patients addicted

To opium, heroin and morphine .It effect is comparable to morphine but

It take a more time to show it’s effects and lasts a longer time in body.

Codeine :

One of well-known varieties of opium which contains 0.2 to 0.8 opium and

Is used as a painkiller in tablet, capsule or syrup forms. It can be taken orally

Or be injected .Codeine  has the same effects of morphine if overdosed.

Papaverine :

One of opium derivitatives  It can’t be solved in water but soluble in alcohol.

From toxicity it’s midst morphine and codeine. It relieves spasm of smooth muscles like intestine.

_Petedine Like methadone, petedine is a synthetic relaxant drugs which it’s effects are less than morphine and relieves muscle spasms.

Hallucinative drugs :

Hemp Seed:

It’s a plant which it’s length can be up to 2 meters.

Male and female plants are separated from each other.

It’s been traditionally used for making oil or feeding cattles.

It’s also used as a snack when cooked. It’s Latin name is CanabisIf the milky liquid released

From it’s flower be taken, it would be called hash.

It’s called Marijuana in US, Grass in UK, O’deb in France, Bange in India, Dega in S.Africa,

Hashish Al Keyf in Syria and Lebanon, Esra in Turkey, Kamba in Mid Africa.

While it has other names like Bang, Weed, Pot, Charaz and Macoona.

_He sees things around bigger or smaller than real size.

_He has an abnormal appetite.

_He feel like enormously powerful, very self satisfied and may commit violence.

_At end he might go to a deep sleep.

Hash:

It’s dark green or brown like Henna which is extracted from many parts of a female plant.

The effective chemical substance is T.H.C (Tetra Hydro Canabinol).

Hash is a natural hallucinative category.

Effects:

_Changes in colors and sounds

_Increased appetite

_Tachycardia

_Bloody eyes

_being careless about the situation, being unable to concentrate.

_Disorder in equilibrium

_Severe mental signs like hearing unreal voices, nonsense speeches, unable to concentrate,

Laughing without will, the feeling that the time goes by slowly.

_Pulmonary diseases,  lung cancer.

_Infertility

Bang:

The flower or the fruit of the Cannabis, regardless of  being extracted before or not

are called Bang.

Marijuana:

In US the tobacco like material is made of leaves of Cannabis

and is called Marijuana.

Since these leaves are very rough the Marijuana cigarettes could be

easily blown off, so Marijuana should be smoked non stop in a group

in an indoor location.

Grass:

It’s actually like Bang and Marijuana. It could be smoked or could be drawn

Like tea.

Chars:

Chars is the active agent of Cannabis, extracted from the flowers of the plant.

It’s more pure than other kinds made of Cannabis.

Mescaline:

An alkaloid drug,, obtained from mescal buttons, which produces hallucinations.

Mescaline could be chewed or be used in powder form in capsules.

LSD:

A crystalline compound , derived from lysergic acid and used as a powerful hallucinogenic drug.

The user of LSD may see color bars when closing his eye,

see fixed objects  mobile, have nausea and tremor.

LSD improves listening power hence user hears undistinctable whispers.

The brain losses it’s ability to operate logically.

DMT:

It’s a hallucinative drug, usually used by LSD addicts.

It will make a stomachache if used orally, so it’s usually injected in muscle

or is smoked with Marijuana or Tobacco.

Stimulating drugs:

Coca :

It’s a plant which grows in western side of Andes mountains in height of

2000m to 6000m.

The plant maybe as tall as 2 meters and it’s leaves look like olive leaves.

The extraction of the leaves is called Cocaine which is highly stimulating and euphoric.

Cocaine:

As mentioned before, Cocaine is extracted from Coca leaves,

mainly in Bolivia, Colombia and Peru.

Native Bolivian seem to be the first people who used Coca leaves for

it’s anesthetic and painkiller effects.

The addiction to Cocaine is mainly mentally.

The effective agent of Cocaine is called Oritoxillin.

Cocaine is usually injected or snorted through nose as a white powder.

Using of Cocaine increase appetite and may lead to insanity.

The street names are Coke, Candy and Happy.

Crack:

An addictive compound derived from Cocaine which is highly addictive

And it’s side-effects are trembling.

It is usually smoked with crystal pipes.  Smoking Few crystal pipes

Of Crack is enough for becoming addicted.

Khat or Ghat :

It’s a plant which grows in East Africa and Arabia.

The leaves are chewed and make pleasure and quench hunger.

It tastes bitter and is usually used in afternoons and early at nights.

The producer countries send tons of the plant to Europe

And other parts of the world in frozen and vacuumed format.

It’s often used by the producer countries’ citizens.

Some countries have some rule against Khat while it’s not

forbidden according to international rules.

Cratem:

It’s a plant which grows in Thailand.

The fresh leaves can be chewed or it may be smoked like Tobacco.

It has stimulating effect and makes the user feel kind of happy and alert.

Nas :

It grows in Afghanistan and Pakistan.

It’s chewed when fresh and drained leaves are usually put on the gum.

To increase its effects a little smoke is added to the material.

The user feels a little warm up but its effects are much less powerful than

other stimulators.

Amphetamine:

It includes a large variety of stimulating drugs which stimulate central nerve system.

Amphetamines could be used in pill, capsule, powder and liquid format.
